Key Personnel


J. Mitchell Johnson has been responsible for creating more than 100 hours of documentary programming which have been broadcast and sold worldwide. As a producer and director, he has won numerous top awards at film festivals across the United States. Most recently he produced and directed Yanks for Stalin for The History Channel, and was the originator and series producer of Abamedia's critically acclaimed Red Files, produced for prime-time PBS and distributed worldwide by Buena Vista Television and Home Video. Red Files won the year 2000 "Best Limited Series" award from the Los Angeles based International Documentary Association (IDA).

Mr. Johnson's current film and television projects include World Without Waves (his first independent feature film). He is the founder of <> (RAO), a public-private initiative that has provided ground-breaking access to the Russian State Film and Photo Archives. He also founded the UNESCO endorsed <> (WAO) project that is constructing a global multi-media encyclopedia for education.



Dennis has served in various Producer capacities on many honored productions including MGM/Showtime’s Inherit the Wind, TNT’s Two for Texas and Horton Foote’s Academy Award winning The Trip to Bountiful. He Executive Produced films including Disney’s Houseguest and The Big Green and Paramount’s The Evening Star. As a Production Executive he oversaw the production of Universal Pictures’ The Fast and the Furious. While at HBO Pictures, as the VP of Production, Dennis oversaw many award winning films including And the Band Played On and Barbarians at the Gate. He commenced his feature work in Texas as a Location/Unit Manager on films such as Local Hero. Dennis just wrapped production as Co-Producer on NASCAR: The IMAX 3D Experience for IMAX/Warner Brothers directed by Simon Wincer and is actively developing several feature projects.



Mr. Ferenc Pap is an award winning cinematographer whose experience encompasses 37 feature films, 50 short films and 20 full length documentaries including Traveling films with "Travel World Video" (Fodor’s Video Guide). A close relationship was established when Mr. Pap and Mr. Johnson collaborated on "Travel World Video," and when Mr. Johnson launched the production of "World Without Waves," Mr. Pap was glad to be part of the project.





Will Foster Stewart is a native of Boston, currently living in Los Angeles. His acting credits include Disney's Playing God starring David Duchovney, The Price of Kissing, Goodbye Lover, The Dogwalker, and Training Day.



Originally from Oklahoma, Tara Bast's credits include numerous theater productions off Broadway and regionally, as well as television appearances on 55 Mercer, Third Watch, and Law & Order. Her filmography includes Sleep and The Family Web.



Jeff Kober has been acting for more than two decades. His many credits include: Gold Coast, Coyote Moon, Ned Blessing: The Story of My Lifes, Tank Girl, Alien Nation, the television series China Beach, and Falcon Crest, as well as many notable television guest appearances, including Star Trek: Voyager, Walker, Texas Ranger, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Pretender, and The Twilight Zone.



A native of Lubbock, Texas and currently residing in Dallas, Brad Leland has appeared in such films as American Outlaw, Dr. T and the Women, Abilene, The Patriot, The Underneath, Love and A .45, Cadillac Ranch, The Stars Fell on Henrietta, Silverado, and Ruby. He has also appeared in numerous miniseries and movies of the week, and has been acting for more than twenty years.



Well –known in the music industry as a recording artist, song –writer and virtuoso guitarist, Fort Worth native Stephen Bruton splits time between Austin and Los Angeles. Mr. Bruton appeared in the The Alamo released in 2004. His additional film credits include The Perfect Specimens and Heaven’s Gate.
